Originally rescued from a Texas feedlot auction, this shy and sweet pony spent years learning to trust and connect with people. After five wonderful years with her previous owner, Maggie was returned to Mile High Rescue in 2024 when her owner became too ill to care for her.

Her gentle nature and kind eyes quickly caught the attention of a loving couple searching for the perfect companion for their horse—and Maggie fit right in. Today, she’s living her best life in her forever home, where she enjoys peaceful days in the pasture, light rides with the grandkids, and plenty of treats and attention from her adoring new family.
