HOW IT WORKS

We’ve chosen three possible names for Mom and three possible names for Baby, each inspired by a different story, character, or personality trait. The names have some fun connections, but each name is competing on its own.

Donate to your favorite Mom name, your favorite Baby name, or both!

THEIR RESCUE STORY

Mom and Baby were surrendered by a breeder and arrived at the Centennial Livestock Auction together.

That's where Terolyn Horse Rescue found them. Seeing a skinny, malnourished mare and her young 3 month old colt in need of help. Terolyn knew they couldn't leave them behind and purchased them from the auction.

They spent their quarantine period in Terolyn's nursery, where they received care and began getting stronger. Once quarantine was complete, Mom and Baby came to Mile High Equestrian & Rescue, where they are continuing their journey together.

Today, they are safe, together, and getting the care they need. Their recovery is still underway, and every donation helps provide the food, veterinary care, farrier care, and daily supplies they need to grow healthier and stronger.
