Boarding & Training
Mile High Rescue is a 10-acre horse-boarding facility in Centennial, CO, on the west side of Cherry Creek State Park, and roughly 15 miles from downtown Denver. Owners Emily Klimas and Maria Lawson have combined over 20 years of experience riding, training and managing stables.
Training
We offer a variety of disciplines including Western, English and Trails. We also offer youth and adult private or semi-private lessons, as well as group classes and clinics throughout the year.
-
Lessons: $65-75/hr. This is a 1-hour mounted lesson for any riding level.
-
Horsemanship: $75/hour. This teaches basic care including how to work with horses on the ground, grooming, saddling, lunging, riding, etc.
-
Professional training varies in price, and is priced on training needs and goals.
Some riders participate in competition, however everyone rides for fun here!

*24-hour cancellation policy: MHR reserves the right to charge for lessons that are not cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson time.
Boarding
The health and happiness of your horse is important to us, which is why we offer top notch care! We are a full service facility where boarders have access to the entire property - indoor and outdoor arenas, grounds, trails, etc.
MHR has competitively priced boarding options for both indoor and outdoor stalls. Horses are fed a grass/alfalfa mix hay 2x daily (with the option for lunch at an additional monthly charge). We also accommodate horses needing unique nutritional plans. Note, additional fees apply for horses requiring more than 8 flakes of hay per day or grain/supplement feedings.
Indoor stalls are cleaned with fresh water and shavings provided daily. Indoor stalled horses are turned-out 7 days per week to an outdoor paddock. Outdoor stalls vary in size and price - small and large paddocks are available. Indoor and outdoor stalls are cleaned 7 days per week, weather permitting.
