Lady Blue, a tall and elegant Thoroughbred, once raced on the track but wasn’t fast enough to stay. After finding herself at the CLA auction, she was rescued by Mile High Rescue and given the second chance she deserved. With her gentle, curious spirit, Lady Blue flourished in MHR’s training program, learning to enjoy trail rides, arena work, and a slower, happier way of life.

Before long, she found her perfect match—a kind woman who recognized Lady Blue’s beautiful soul. Today, Lady Blue is living her best life in Golden, Colorado, spending her days exploring trails, soaking up the sunshine, and being lovingly spoiled.
