Become a Sponsor and/or Donor!

Sponsors are necessary for us to host community events like our annual race. Last year's Running for Rescues 5K saw roughly 300 runners at the event! Current sponsors include Fleet Feet, Mile High Spirits, Runa Energy Drinks,, Kona Ice, My Salad Chop and more. 

Running for Rescues also is always looking for donations! This year we are looking for water bottle, ice, carrots for our rescues, grab and go runner snacks such as tangerines, granola bars, etc. as well as trash can liners and cleaning supplies including hand sanitizer.  

Sponsorship Information:

This summer kick-off begins at MHR, 6351 S. Peoria Street, Centennial, CO 80111, and takes registrants running, walking or trotting through Cherry Creek State Park. The event will kick-off at 8am with the 1 Mile Family Fun Run and 5K Run/Walk. Runners are also encouraged to participate virtually if preferred. Awards will be given to the top qualifiers in each age group.

With your sponsorship support we can continue to make a positive change throughout our community. Covid impacted fundraising efforts for many local nonprofits. This event will help bridge the financial gap and defray costs for crucial aspects of MHR’s mission to facilitate a connection between horses and humans, while saving neglected and slaughter-bound equines. Funds received are 100% applied to helping our rescues with basic care such as hay, shavings, hoof trims, teeth floating and vaccines, which cost roughly $5,500 per horse per year. MHR does not receive government funding and therefore relies on sponsorships, fundraising efforts, volunteers and donations to provide for our rescues.

Furthermore, sponsorships allow public relation investments that would reach a profitable target market - community members and animal lovers. This event will be publicized via email lists, marketing efforts, and social media. There are various levels of sponsorship. Size and placement of logos on t-shirts and our website vary based on sponsorship level.

• Logo printed on banner, worn by Hopscotch our mini horse who will be seen the MHR property and on the 5k/1-Mile course throughout Cherry Creek State Park
• Private tour & meet and greet with Hopscotch the mini and Pickles the pig
• Listed as Sponsor on the sponsor banner, website, email and marketing material
• Prominent display of Logo on Race T-shirt if logo is received by Sept 1, 2024
• 6 complimentary Race entries

Platinum Level Sponsor - $3,000

• Private tour & meet and greet with Hopscotch the mini and Pickles the pig
• Listed as Sponsor on the sponsor banner, website, email and marketing material
• Prominent display of Logo on Race T-shirt if logo is received by Sept 1, 2024
• 4 complimentary Race entries

Gold Level Sponsor - $1,000

• Display of Logo on Race T-shirt if logo is received by Sept 1, 2024
• Listed as Sponsor on the sponsor banner, website, email and marketing material

Silver Level Sponsor - $500

Other Donation Options:

Your contribution would not only be a worthwhile charitable donation, but also a public relations investment that would reach a profitable target market – community members and animal lovers. This event will be publicized via email lists, marketing efforts, and social media. MHR is a federal tax-exempt organization that provides donation receipts for all donations made.
