What does a day at camp look like?

Camp schedule:

Monday - Thursday each week

Drop off: 9:00 am
Pick-up: 1:00 pm

*Late pick up available - additional $50/day

Campers:

MHR welcomes all riders ages 6+. 

Campers will bring their own lunch and masks. MHR will provide water, snacks and hand sanitizer.

Camp details:

Daily drop-in outdoor horse camp running each week Monday - Thursday. Campers learn to ride, care for horses, and build confidence through daily activities.

*camp supports up to 5 kids per day and works on a first come first serve basis

Attire: 

Covered toe shoes with heal or boots, long pants or jeans free of back pocket buttons (no slick pants or sweats) and sunscreen. Bring your own approved riding helmet, or use one of ours free of charge.

Two step registration process:

     1. Fill out entire form below and submit.

     2. Pay through link below. Confirmation email will be sent once space is reserved.

  • Camp is open to riders of any experience level, beginner through advanced, ages 6+.

  • Each day is limited to 5 riders. Riders may be divided into groups during camp based on experience levels.

  • Camp tuition is $100 per day. There is no discount for multiple days or weeks. Payment is due in full at sign up. Completed paperwork with signature and full payment is required to confirm camp registration.

I assume full responsibility for my safety. I further understand I ride at my own risk and hereby release and agree to hold harmless MHR, its employees, agents and owners of horses from each and every claim for costs, expenses, loss, injury or damage to my person or property which may arise from the use of said horse and/or equipment in favor of myself, my heirs, representatives or dependents.

 

This document contains a release of liability which I acknowledge I have read and understood before signing.

Warning: Under the equine activity liability act, each participant who engages in an equine activity expressly assumes the risks of engaging in and legal responsibility for injury, loss or damage to person or property resulting from the risk of any equine activity.

   i. The propensity of an equine to behave in dangerous ways that may result in injury to the participant.

   ii. The inability to predict an equine’s reaction to sound, movements, objects, persons or animals.

   iii. The hazards of surface or subsurface.

This release shall remain valid until expressly revoiced by the participant or if a minor, the parent or legal guardian.
